This product is aminoglycoside broad-spectrum antibiotics, antibacterial spectrum and neomycin similar. The main Gram-negative bacteria such as Escherichia coli, Klebsiella, Proteus, Pneumonia Bacillus, Enterobacter aerogenes and Shigella caused by serious infection, the drug resistance of Staphylococcus aureus also has a good antibacterial effect. Clinically, it is mainly used for pulmonary infection, urinary tract infection, biliary tract infection, sepsis and abdominal infection caused by sensitive bacteria, and the latter two are often used in combination with other antibacterial drugs. Can also be used for other antibiotic resistance and sensitive to this product of Staphylococcus aureus infection. For the treatment of tuberculosis, this product can be used as a second-line drug.

principle

This product mainly binds to the 30S subunit of bacterial ribosomes and inhibits bacterial protein synthesis. In recent years, the number of resistant strains has increased significantly, because some bacteria produce aminoglycoside inactivation enzymes, so that the loss of antibacterial activity. Kanamycin and streptomycin, neomycin have complete cross-resistance, and other aminoglycosides may have some cross-resistance.

adult dosage: intramuscular injection or intravenous infusion, once 0.5g, once every 12 hours; Or according to body weight once 7.5mg/kg, once every 12 hours, adult daily dosage should not exceed 1.5g, treatment is not easy to exceed 14 days. Patients over 50 years of age should be appropriately reduced.
Children's usual dosage: intramuscular injection or intravenous drip, according to the weight of 15-25mg/kg a day, divided into two doses.
dosage when renal function decreases: creatinine clearance 50-90mg/min with 60-90% of the normal dose, once every 12 hours (normal dose is 7.5mg/kg each time, once every 12 hours); Creatinine clearance 10-50mg/min with 30-70% of the normal dose, once every 12-18 hours; Creatinine clearance <10mg/min with 20-30% of the normal dose, every 24-48 hours.
